About The Founder
Refuge For The Abuse was birth after the owner and founder Ann Phillips had gone through a tremendious amount of suffering and abused herself, which had prepared her for this moment. While she was going through her ordeal, in 2005 the Lord spoke to her spirit with detailed information of how she was going to be helping others who are going through a similar situation as she was. She continued to struggle through and edure her conflicts only with the help of the Lord as she pressed towards the light of her tunnel. Along the path she had observed and educated herself of her surroundings and had met with, and had on many occasions forgot about herself, her own pain and sufferings and encouraged many others who were also going through situations just like herself. It was always a painful experience, however, through it all, she very rearly complained. Her faith and trust in God had made a difference, it was nothing she could have done on her own. Her testimony on many occasions was that she could have been eating out of the garbage bin if it had not been for the Lord on her side that had provided for her, kept her through troubled times, and gave her inner strength and courage to go through her situations.
She gained certification, Credits and/or Distinctions in Computerized Bookkeeping, Clait, Word processing. In 1993 -1997 she gained certification in Import and Export Agency and started her own small business in the Uk.
Thank God that after her seperation when she was able, she went back to study at colleges and gained Certification, Credits and/or Distinctions in Integrated Business, NVQ IT, Fashion/Clothing Design and Manufacturing, Small Business Development, Small business training and had attended training at various Small Business Seminars. She went on to further her education and did a Foundation course in Access to IT PW - (Access) and went on to study at University, where she major in Accounting and minor in Information Systems in England where she studied. She has also been involved in Network Marketing to which she lead and trained many others to succeed in various network businesses. She has also started building websites and much more.
